Westhampton Beach Police Log: Woman Charged With Weapon Possession

Westhampton Beach arrest report through Oct. 10.

On Oct.4 at 3:30 p.m., Westhampton Beach Police charged a Calverton woman with possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor, criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, a violation, as well as various traffic violations.

According to police, Alexandra R. Cox, 23, was stopped by police on Montauk Highway for backing up in the middle of an intersection and for having tinted windows. Police say after an investigation, they found she was in possession of various pills, cocaine and two stun guns.

Police say Cox was held overnight and arraigned on Oct. 5.
