Westhampton Beach Police Log: Two Men Brawl at Los Tres Diamantese

Westhampton Beach Village Police reports for the week of July 11 through July 18:
Police say they were called to a fight between two men at on Montauk Highway in Westhampton Beach Saturday at 9:16 p.m. Police said one of the men involved left before they arrived, but the remaining individual, who is 30 years old and from Westhampton Beach, suffered a lump on the right side of his head from the brawl. The man told police he did not want to press charges, and would not disclose the name of the man he fought. He told police that the dispute was over an ex-girlfriend.
The owner of on Montauk Highway in Westhampton Beach told Westhampton Beach Village Police that on Saturday at around 12:25 p.m., she thinks that one of her clients stole a pair of Joewell scissors, valued at $500. Police said they investigated, but did not find the scissors in the handbag or car of the woman that was accused.
