Arrests through May 30.

Editor’s Note: The following information was supplied by the Westhampton Beach Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

On Wednesday at 9:22 p.m. Westhampton Beach Police charged Linda Jeanne Schwartz, 53 of Westhampton Beach and charged her with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police say Schwarts was spotted driving erratically eastbound on Montauk Highway. Schwartz was held overnight and is due back in court on June 6.

On Sunday at 3:13 a.m. police charged Michael Dove, 30 of Sayville with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police say they pulled Dove over at the corner of Oak Street and Montauk Highway after he failed to maintain his lane and crossed over a double yellow line arrested. Dove was held overnight by Riverhead PD and is due to appear in court on June 13.

Also on Sunday at 8:46 p.m. police charged Peter Gish, 50 of Sudbury, Mass. with reckless driving and DWI, a misdemeanor. Police say they pulled Gish over on Old Riverhead Road after they watched his passenger attempt to open the door of the car and exit while the car was in motion. Police say the driver didn’t attempt to slow the car. Gish was held on $300 bail and is due in court on June 30.

Also over Memorial Day weekend, Westhampton Beach police responded to a shoplifting call at Wetter or Not on Main Street in Westhampton Beach. Police say the store owner reported that between 12:30 p.m and 4:30 p.m. on Monday someone stole four Michael Kors shirts, valued at $656.  The investigation is ongoing.

Police say though Memorial Day weekend, they were called to several noice complaints, but "nothing out of the ordinary."
