Westhampton Beach Village Police: Quogue Man Faces DWI Charge

The following information was supplied by the Westhampton Beach Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

Jeffrey Barnett, 56, of Quogue, was arrested Dec. 13 at 12:17 a.m. on Lilac Road in Westhampton Beach and charged with DWI and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors. Barnett was stopped after police say they saw him driving 15 miles per hour in a 40 mile-per-hour zone on Old Riverhead Road.
