Town Police: Multiple Fights at Clubs Over Labor Day Weekend

Despite police response at Dream, The Rift and Beach Bar, no arrests made.

Three different people were assaulted at three different clubs over Labor Day weekend, according to reports from Southampton Town police.

On Sunday at around 12:15 a.m., a 32-year-old man from Bellport told police that while he was at on Dune Road in East Quogue, someone punched him in the face, causing him cuts and swelling. The man, who police said was highly intoxicated, was transported by the Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance to Peconic Bay Medical Center.

The Bellport man could not identify who punched him, making it impossible for him to press charges.

On the same day, a patron told Town Police that someone punched him numerous times in the face, causing a bruise around his eye and swelling. The man, who refused medical attention, told police his attacker fled the Hampton Bays club in a silver Chrysler 300.

Another incident was reported at Monday at 5:19 a.m., according to police . A 23-year-old man from Elizabeth, NJ, told police that someone punched him, causing swelling to his face. He was taken to Southampton Hospital for his injuries, according to police.

Frank Vlahadamis, the owner of Club Dream, said the incident happened in the parking lot of his club and that there were 14 bouncers working that night.
