Town Police Log: Couple Charged with Criminal Trespass; Husband Charged with Assault

Police said landlords entered home without renters' permission.

Criminal Trespass

A Hampton Bays couple were arrested for trespass on Feb. 15 after they entered a Beachdale South residence that they owned without the permission of the renters who lived there, police said. Robert Drescher pushed in the door, which struck a female victim in the arm, according to police. He was charged with criminal trespass in the second degree and assault in the third degree, both misdemanors. His wife, Victoria Drescher, who police said also unlawfully entered the residence, was charged with criminal trespass in the second degree.
