Town Police Log: Drunk Driving, Larceny and Stalking Arrests

arrest reports for west of the Shinnecock Canal for the week of March 26 to April 1:
DWI
• Paul Sanchez-Sanchez, 36, of Southampton, was arrested March 27 at 9:51 p.m. at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Flanders Road in Hampton Bays. He was charged with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more, a misdemeanor, as well as aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a misdemeanor. Cops said Sanchez-Sanchez showed signs of inebriation during sobriety tests.

Grand Larceny
• Nicholas Spiegel, 24, of Hampton Bays, was arrested April 1 at 11:42 p.m. on Westerly Road in Hampton Bays and charged with second-degree grand larceny a felony. According to police, Spiegel took items from his parents' safe and attempted to sell them. He was arraigned the following day at Southampton Town Justice Court.

Stalking
• David Rasnik, 29, of Hampton Bays, turned himself in to police March 19 at 4 p.m. on an active warrant for stalking in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor. Cops said the stalking charge was related to a previous domestic incident involving Rasnick. He was processed at Town Police headquarters in Hampton Bays and held overnight for morning arraignment in justice court.
