Teen Busted for Selling Pot at School, Cops Say

A 22-year-old was also arrested in connection with the case. Police say he bought the marijuana for the student and smoked it with him.

A 14-year-old boy sold marijuana to a fellow student on the grounds of the Hampton Bays High School, according to Southampton Town police.

School officials found the boy, whose name was not released, in possession of marijuana on Friday at about 10:40 a.m., police said. Once police investigated, they found the boy had sold some to another student.

He was charged with criminal sale of marijuana, a felony, and released to his parents on an appearance ticket. He will appear on the charge in Family Court later this month, police said.
