Police on Friday are investigating an accident on Sunrise Highway in Hampton Bays that has backed up traffic all the way into Southampton, according the Southampton Police.

Police on Friday are investigating an accident on Sunrise Highway in Hampton Bays that has backed up traffic all the way into Southampton, according to Southampton Police.

The accident occurred on the westbound side of the highway, and New York State Police was on the scene as of 4:45 p.m. Friday.
