State Police Log: Bethpage Woman Arrested for DWI in Hampton Bays
The following information was supplied by the New York State Police. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.
Christy Garramone, 33, of Bethpage was arrested on June 12 at 7:45 p.m. by state police for DWI.
Police say they spotted Garramone's gray Hyundai stop suddenly and drive onto the shoulder of the eastbound side of Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays. During their investigation, police say they learned that Garramone had a blood alcohol level of .15 percent.
Police say she also had bloodshot, watery eyes and smelled of alcohol. She also failed field sobriety tests, police said.

Garramone is expected to appear in court in Southampon on June 29 1:00pm.
