State Cops Nab Westhampton Beach Clerk For Selling Vodka to Minor

The woman, who works at Westhampton Beach Fine Wines and Spirits was charged after an undercover sting on Wednesday.

New York State police charged a 67-year-old Westhampton Beach woman on Wednesday after she sold a bottle of vodka to an undercover agent, who was posing as a minor.

The woman, who works at Westhampton Beach Fine Wines and Spirits, was charged with one count of unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeanor and one count of prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, also a misdemeanor.

Police also conducted stings at 9 other locations that were found to be in compliance Those businesses included, Hess Martin Quogue, 7-11 in Westhampton Beach, Valero Gas in Westhampton Beach, East Quogue Pizza & Deli, East Quogue Wines & Liquor, Pete’s Deli in Hampton Bays, Hampton Deli in Flanders, Cork N Jug Wines & Liquors in Hampton Bays, and at Hampton Bays Shell Gas.
