Southampton Police Log: 64-Year-Old Quiogue Woman Arrested for DWI After Minor Accident

Resisting Arrest
Alain Pierre, 21, of Huntington Station was arrested by Southampton Town Police Sunday at 1:05 a.m. on Foster Avenue in Hampton Bays and charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a violation. Police said security at the Beach Bar threw Pierre out of the club when he became violent. When police arrived at the club, Pierre threatened them and grabbed a police officer, police said.

DWI
Linda Overton, 64, of Quiogue was arrested by Southampton Town Police Saturday at 9:49 p.m. on the corner of Hampton Street and Franklin Avenue in Quiogue and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. Overton was in a minor accident. There were no injuries reported, police said. Overton was charged with aggravated DWI because she had an elevated blood alcohol content.

Martin Orduna, 39, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Southampton Town Police Sunday at 2:24 a.m. on the corner of Noyack Road and Roses Grove Road in Noyac and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Orduna drove out of lane.
Barbara Cooper, 70, of Westhampton was arrested by Southampton Town Police Monday, June 20 at 9:53 p.m. on the corner of Rampasture Road and Elder Avenue in Hampton Bays and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Cooper was in a minor accident and taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center.
Gustavo Cardona, 52, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Southampton Town Police Sunday at 4:12 a.m. on the corner of Ponquogue and Fanning avenues and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Cardona did not yield to oncoming traffic when he made a left turn onto Ponquogue Avenue.
Criminal Contempt
Dale Gabbett, 35, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Southampton Town Police Monday, June 20 at 9:25 p.m. on Montauk Highway in East Quogue and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. Gabbett violated an order of protection, police said.
Wayne Penny, 65, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Southampton Town Police Friday at 7:07 p.m. on Bellows Terrace in Hampton Bays and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. Police said Penny violated an order of protection.
Reckless Endangerment
John Magnaldi, 49, of Montauk was arrested by Southampton Town Police Friday, June 17 at 1:52 p.m. in the Macy’s parking lot on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays and charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor, and failure to comply with police orders, a violation. Police said Magnaldi was trying to evade a ticket for parking in the handicapped zone when he hit an officer with his car. There were no injuries to the officer.
Obstructing Government Administration
17-year-old twins from Westhampton, were arrested by Southampton Town Police Friday at 11:31 a.m. at their home on Sweetgrass Road in Westhampton and charged with second-degree obstructing government administration, a misdemeanor. The twins, police said, prevented them from finding a 17-year-old boy who was reported missing but was hiding in their home.
Petit Larceny
Blanca Reinhardt, 56, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Southampton Town Police Saturday at 11:07 a.m. at the King Kullen on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Police said Reinhardt stole razors and cleaning products, worth $41.23, from the grocery store.
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance
Christopher Morell, 54, of East Quogue was arrested by Southampton Town Police Tuesday, June 21 at 11:28 p.m. on Squires Avenue in East Quogue and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree larceny, both misdemeanors. Morell tried to steal a credit card from a family member, police said. When police arrived to the scene, they found a crack pipe, crusted with residue, on Morell and also discovered he had a bench warrant from Suffolk County relating to a DWI charge.
