Southampton Police Log: Endangering The Welfare of Child, Contempt

Southampton Town arrest reports through Jan. 28.

Endangering Welfare of a Child

Dewayne Riddick, 25, of Riverhead, was arrested on Jan. 23 on East Main Street in Riverhead and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, on a criminal arrest warrant. According to Southampton Town police, the incident took place on Brown Street in Riverside. He was transported to headquarters for processing.

Criminal Contempt

Patrick Padden, 55, of Hampton Bays was arrested on Jan. 24 at 10:10 p.m. at Gravel Hill Road in Hampton Bays and charged with criminal contempt in the first and harassment in the second degree. According to Southampton Town Police, the complaintant stated that defendant pushed her from behind, causing her to fall into a dresser, with intent to annoy, harass, and alarm her, despite an order of protection she had against the defendant, which he allegedly violated. Padden was arrested, transported to police headquarters and held for arraignment.

Stalking

Nicholas Fisher, 27, Riverhead, was arrested on Jan. 27 at 9:43 p.m. on Flanders Road in Flanders and charged with stalking in the fourth degree after officers responded to a criminal arrest warrant. The defendant allegedly called the complaintant on Jan. 15 and left messages.
