Riverside Man Charged With DWI

Police said he was observed failing to maintain his lane of traffic.

A Riverside man was charged with driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning.

According to Southampton Town police, on Saturday morning at 4:16 a.m. on County Road 104 and Pine Street in Riverside, Mario P. Soyos, 30, of Riverside, was arrested.

Police said Soyos was observed failing to maintain his lane of traffic and was found to be intoxicated.

He was arrested, transported to the Southampton Town police headquarters for processing, and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. He was also charged with moving from a lane unsafely and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both violations. Soyos was held for morning arraignment.
