Riverside Man Charged With Criminal Sale of Crack

Vail Avenue resident faces a felony charge after being caught allegedly selling crack cocaine.

The war against drugs and driving while intoxicated continues on the East End.

On August 1, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office East End Drug Task Force and Southampton Town Police arrested Moses Bullock, 39, of Vail Avenue in Riverside and charged him with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.

Bullock was arrested after police said he had allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine on multiple dates.

According to Southampton Town police, Bullock was arrested after a several-months' long investigation into alleged narcotics activity in the Flanders and Riverside Areas.

Bullock was processed at Southampton Town Headquarters, arraigned, and subsequently remanded to Suffolk County Jail.

I have seen the term "Quantity of cocaine" used quite often in the Patch. The quantity determies the severty of the crime (ie B C or D felony). Is there an amount attached to that phrase?
