Quogue Village Police: Man Drove with Unidentified Pills

The following arrest information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police Department. It does not indicate guilt.

Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs

Robert Livingston, 46, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Quogue Village Police Tuesday, July 19 at 11:10 p.m. on Montauk Highway in Quogue and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. Police said they pulled Livingston over for driving on the shoulder and then found he had pills, the identity of which has not yet been discovered.

DWI

Joseph Giammalvo, 52, of Melville was arrested by Village Police Saturday at 12:49 a.m. on Montauk Highway in Quogue and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Giammalvo was pulled over for driving out of lane, police said.

Philip M. Burkard, 21, of East Moriches was arrested by Village Police Sunday at 3:30 a.m. on Dune Road in Quogue and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Burkard was stopped for speeding.

Aggravated DWI

Stephen Plochochi, 21, of Sayville was arrested by Village Police Sunday at 7 p.m. on Montauk Highway in Quogue and charged with DWI and aggravated DWI, both misdemeanors. Police said they received numerous calls about a driver operating erratically, and ended up pulling Plochochi over for driving on the shoulder of the road.
