On March 31 at 12:22 a.m. police charged Odenzio Geronimo, 26, of Bridgehampton, was charged with DWI and as an unlicened driver in the third degree, a misdemanor. Geronimo was stopped on Montauk Highway for unsafe lane change, and passing in a no passing zone.
On April 1 at 10:58 p.m. police charged Carolos Mejia, 29 of Bellport, for DWI and for having an open alcholic container. Police say they stopped Mejia on Montauk Highway for using a lane inproperly.
Also this week, police used their Licence Plate Reader to nab two drivers who were driving with suspended registrations. A 72-year-old Quogue resident and a 27-year-old Hampton Bays man were ticketed for driving with suspended registrations..
