Quogue Police Log: Man Gives Cops Fake Social Security Card

Possession of a Forged Instrument
• A Westhampton Beach man was charged after police discovered he had a fake social security card.
According to Quogue Police, Rosendo Hernandez-Guillermo, 38, presented the card on May 18 after he was pulled over on Old Country Road at 1:00 a.m. for speeding and crossing a double yellow line.
He was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a felony.
DWI
• John Erickson, 25, of Hampton Bays, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, on May 9, after police pulled him over on Montauk Highway at 2:30 a.m. for speeding. Police also charged him with driving while impaired by drugs and alcohol, also a misdemeanor. He was also ticketed for speeding and for violating a restricted use of a licence, a violation.
Drugs
• A 19-year-old passenger* in a car that was pulled over on May 10 on Old Point Road was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was also ticketed for not wearing his seatbelt.
• On May 10, Eric Tedersen, 18, of Hampton Bays, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor after he was pulled over for failing to signal on Montauk Highway at 6:00 p.m. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
• Tyler Giancola, 20, of Westhampton Beach, got slapped with a driving while ability impaired by drugs charge, which is a misdemeanor, after he was pulled over on South Country Road at 1:45 a.m. for speeding. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
• On May 20, David Casquarelli, 34, of East Quogue, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Police said they pulled him over on County Road 104 for not wearing a seatbelt. He was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree, a misdemeanor, after police found Zanex pills that were not prescribed to him. He was also ticketed for driving an uninspected car.
• After being stopped for having a loud muffler on Old Country Road on May 21, Owen Lewis, 20, of East Quogue, found himself charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Police also charged Lewis with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Burglary
• Quogue police are investigating a report of a burglary on Beach Lane in which four, flat screen televisions sets were reportedly taken between May 6 and May 14.
• Police are looking into a report of stolen driveway lights from a residence on Dune Road. The lights, valued at over $1,000 were taken, police said, sometime between May 16 and May 22.
