Quogue Police Log: DWI Arrests; Golf Clubs Stolen

DRUGS

• On July 26 26 at 6:45 p.m. police charged Luis Londono,40 of Hampton Bays with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a felony because of a prior conviction. Police said Londono was involved in a car crash prior to his arrest. There were no injuries reported.

• On Aug. 4 at 3:00 a.m. police charged Danielle Pepe, 22, of Mannorville, with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a misdemeanor after police said he had prescription pills, which she did not have a prescription for. Police said they stopped her for improper lane use and found that she had also been drinking. She was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, as well as unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Boating While Intoxicated

On July 20 at 6:35 p.m., Quogue police charged Kevin Murphy, 27, of East Quogue with boating while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Police said they stopped Murphy in the Quogue Canal for operating the boat recklessly.

DWI

• On July 28 at 1:05 a.m. police charged David Desormeau, 25, of Bayshore, with DWI, misdemeanor. Police said they pulled Desormeau over on Quaquanantuck Lane for failing to signal.

• On Aug. 4 at 3:44 a.m. police charged Robin Nigankin, 47 of Remsenburg, with DWI, a misdemeanor. Nigankin was pulled over on Dune Road for speeding. She was also charged with refusing a pre-screen test, which is a violation.

Burglary

On Aug. 3 a resident of Montauk Highway reported that sometime between July 31 and Aug. 3 someone broke into his garage and stole two sets of golf clubs, valued at over $2,5000
