On Aug. 26 Stephanie Vertichio, 26, of Bellport, was charged for DWI, a misdemeanor. According to police, Vertichio was initially stopped on Montauk Highway for speeding and passing over a double yellow line.
On Aug. 15, police charged Spencer A. Irbing, 22, of Port Washington, with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor and possession of marijuana, a violation. Police say they pulled Irbing over on Montauk Highway for failing to stop at a stop sign.
On Aug. 14, Quogue police charged John F. Galbraitch, 68, of New York, New York, with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police say they pulled Galbraitch over on Dune Road for faling to dim his headlights.
Also last week, Quogue police nabbed two 19-year-olds on Dune Road for possession of alcohol and marijuana; a 27-year-old for unlawful possession of marijuana on Dune Road and a 23-year-old for the same at the .
