Quogue Police Log: 7 Nabbed for DWI

Quogue Village Police reports through June 18.

Editor's Note: The following information was supplied by the Quogue Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

• On May 25 at 3:20 a.m., Kevin McLaughlin, 61, of Southampton, was charged with a felony DWI charge. Police said he had a prior DWI conviction. He was initially stopped on Montauk Highway for making an unsafe lane change.

• On May 21, at 12:40 a.m., police charged Owen Lewis, 20, of East Quogue, with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. He was stopped on Old Country Road for having an obstructed windshield. He was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

• On May 25 at 11:25 p.m., Adam Sanczenko, 38, of East Quogue, was stopped for making an unsafe lane change, driving on the shoulder, and crossing a double yellow line on Montauk Highway. Upon investigation, he was found to be intoxicated and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor.

• On May 26, at 1:30 a.m., Christian Diffendale, 21, of St. James, was stopped on Post Lane for speeding. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol, misdemeanor.

• On May 26 at 1:50 a.m., Joshua Feshbach, 19, of Sand Point, New York, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. He was further charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was initially stopped on Dune Road for speeding and failing to signal. In addition he was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument 3rd degree. Police said he had a fake licence.

• On May 26 at 3:40 a.m., police charged Diana Barbera, 27, of Mastic, with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police stopped Barbera on Dune Road for speeding and passing in a no passing zone.

• On May 26 at 7:10 p.m., Camilo Santana-Liriano, 25, of Carlstadt, New Jersey, was nabbed for DWI, a misdemeanor. Cops said he was stopped on Montauk Highway for making an unsafe lane change and passing in a no passing zone.

• On 27 at 3:50 p.m., police responded to a fight in progress on Quanquanantuck Lane in Quogue where they charged Scott Donnelly, 23, of Farmingville, with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a misdemeanor. Police said he was carrying a methamphetamine.

• On the 27 at 5:30 Bernard Hanson, 45, of Middle Island, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor after he was stopped on Quogue Street for having an obstructed view.

• On June 1 at 1:37 a.m., Jessica Jerman, 23 of Mastic Beach, stopped for speeding on Montauk Highway, she was also charged with DWI, a misdemeanor.

• On June 9 at 2:13 a.m. Quogue police charged Scott Soshnick, 22 of Dix Hills, with DWI, a misdemeanor, after they pulled him over on Montauk Highway for making an unsafe lane change, crossing a double yellow line, and speeding.

• A 17-year-old* of Hampton Bays charged was charged on June 13 at 7:30 p.m. with Driving While Ability Impaired by drugs and alcohol a misdemeanor, after she was found parked in closed park on Dune Road. She was further charged with intent to consume alcohol in a vehicle, a violation.

• On June 15 at 6:00 p.m., on Beronica Jandres, 24 of Mastic Beach, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, after she was stopped for speeding on Dune Road. She was also give a violation for having an open container in the car she was driving.
