Quogue Police Log: 22-Year-Old Gets DWI After Crash

The following arrest information was supplied by the Quogue Village Police Department. It does not indicate guilt.

Quogue Village Police arrest reports for Feb. 20 through Feb. 27:

• Quogue Police charged Nicole Amara,22, of Quogue, with DWI after police say she lost control of her 2008 Pontiac on Box Tree Road in Quogue on Feb. 26 at 7:45 p.m. and hit an embankment.  Police say Amara was injured in the sing-car crash and was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center.

• On Feb. 24 at 2:40 a.m., Police charged Kyle Alestra, 22 of East Quogue with DWI.  Police say they stopped Alestra for speeding and for changing lanes unsafely.  He was held overnight for arraignment.
