Updated: Quogue PD Investigating Hit and Run Involving DPW Employee
Police say there were no major injuries.
are investigating a hit and run incident that occurred on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. on Montauk Highway in Quogue near the post.
According to Lieutenant Christopher Isola, a green, Dodge minivan struck a Department of Public Works employee who was working on the side of the road.
The driver of the minivan took off after hitting the worker, Isola said.

Injuries to the worker, Isola said are not series at this time.
Wintnesses, Isola said, indicated that the minivan sustained damage on the driver's side door and side view mirror.
