Quogue Man Faces DWI Charge

30-year-old returns to work intoxicated, police say

A 30-year-old Quogue man was arrested for DWI Friday after a dispute with a co-worker.

Police were called to a business on Commercial Park Drive in Quogue Friday at 4:10 p.m. after a verbal argument broke out between Carlton Schaffer, Jr. and a co-worker. When police arrived at the shop, Schaffer was not at the business. But, while officers interviewed his co-worker, he returned in his truck.

The dispute was not related to business matters, police said.
