UPDATE: Anonymous Tip Leads to Burglary Arrests

Two 19-year-old East Quogue residents were arrested on third degree burglary charges, according to a report on 27East.

Update, May 24: Southampton Police said an anonymous tip led to two felony arrests for a reported burglary at a local restaurant, according to a report on 27East. 

James Patrikis and Desiree Guida, both 19 year-old East Quogue residents, were arrested on Wednesday after someone reportedly recognized a tattoo from a surveilance camera photo sent out by police following the incident.

Both were charged with third-degree burglary, according to the report.

Original story: Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and are asking the public to help identify a male and and female who were involved in a burglary that took place at in East Quogue.

According to police, on May 5, a male and a female entered the the restaurant and took a cash register that contained about $550. 

Police said the male was described as 25-year-old, 5'9," 140 pounds with dark hair. He was wearing a blue-hooded sweatshirt. The female, police said looked about 25-years-old, about 5'6" with a stocky build and light hair.  She also had star tattoo between her thumb and index finger on her left hand.

Police ask that anyone with information, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
