Police: Hampton Bays Woman Caught With 65 Painkillers, Pot

Colleen Desiano arrested on charges of DWI drugs, criminal possession of a narcotic, and other charges.

New York State police arrested a Hampton Bays woman Wednesday night after they said she was caught driving down Montauk Highway in Southampton with 24 grams of marijuana, 65 illegal painkillers and a glass smoking pipe.

Police said Colleen Desiano, 55, was pulled over around 10:30 p.m. for having a headlight out in her gray Honda Civic while driving westbound on Montauk Highway. While interviewing her, an officer reportedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Desiano allegedly told police she had just finished smoking marijuana and was on her way home.

A subsequent search of the vehicle reportedly led to uncovering 65 oxycodone pills, two jars containing 24 grams of marijuana and a glass pipe.
