Police Arrest a Pair of Hampton Bays Residents on Wednesday

One woman arrested on menacing charges, a man on DWI charges in separate incidents.

Southampton Police announced that two Hampton Bays residents were arrested in separate incidents, one on charges of menacing and another on DWI charges.

Lena Adams, 44, was arrested on second degree menacing charges around 6:45 p.m. Police said Adams threw a steel angle bar at a worker doing construction at her house. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released with an appearance ticket.

Police also arrested Oscar Soto, 22, on DWI charges after they pulled him over around 8:40 on Dune Road. According to police, Soto was pulled over for a traffic infraction and it was later determined he was operating his car in an intoxicated condition. He was transported to headquarters, processed, and held for morning arraignment.
