Residents supported their local fire department members on August 5 at an annual open house event.
The , headed up by Chief Tim Shea, held its annual Open House on August 5.
The event featured food, demonstrations by volunteer firefighters and activities for kids, including a bounce house and face painting.
Also during the event, the department ramped up its recruitment in an effort to garner more members. Recently, the department posted a asking residents to be a part of the volunteer organization.
