Multiple Drug Arrests Made at Tiana Beach and Beach Bar in Hampton Bays

made a slew of drug arrests over the holiday weekend, collecting evidence including cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine, Xanax, Testosterone, pot and $3,000 in cash.

On Sunday, police said they arrested Ryan T. Oates, 32, and Michael Gibbard, 32, both of Coram. Both were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third and fourth degrees, felonies and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.  Oates received an additional charge of unlawful possession of marijuana. 

Police say they observed Oates and Gibbard sitting in a car in the Tiana Beach parking lot getting ready to enter the Neptune Beach Club when police say they saw Oates stash cocaine in his pants. Upon further investigation, police found the pair were in possession of cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine and marijuana.

Also arrested on drug charges at Tiana Beach were Brittany Procida, 23, of Brookhaven, Jessica Guzman, 20, of Ronkonkoma, Craig Procida, 35, of Middle Island, and Michael Saladino, 22, of Centereach.

Police say all four were found to have drugs in their possession.

Saladino, police say, had four hallucinogenic pills and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Craig Procida, who police said had several jars of ketamine in his shoe, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a felony. Brittany Procida, who police said had ketamine and 45 ecstasy pills, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth and fifth degree, both felonies. She was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor. Guzman, who police said had 16 ecstasy pills, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree and fifth degree, both felonies.

In the Beach Bar Parking lot on Foster Avenue in Hampton Bays, police said they arrested Henry Kurz, 27, of Center Moriches, Daniel Pelosi, 25, of East Moriches and Thomas Banducci, 23, of Manorville.  They were all charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.  Police say they spotted the three using cocaine. Upon further investigation, police said they found they were in possession of the drug.

Also over the weekend, police also arrested John Faber, 22, of Hampton Bays and Irene Makedon, 21, of Williston Park, in unrelated incidents for unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
