UPDATE: Police Seek Public's Help in Locating Robbery Suspect

Southampton Police are now seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect that they believe robbed Matz Riteway Heating and Air Conditioning. The man is described as white, 5'8 medium build, late 20s, brown hair, brown eyes, clean shaven and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown work boots.

Police say the suspect, on Nov. 5 at around 9 a.m., entered Matz Riteway and asked an employee about purchasing some items. Police say the man then entered the employee's office, forced her under her desk and stole about $2,000 in cash and then fled in an unknown direction.

As previously reported, police used a helicopter and k-9 units in an effort to locate the suspect.
