Leandra’s Law Arrest Made in Hampton Bays
State police arrested a Westchester woman on Lighthouse Road.
A 51-year-old Westchester County woman was arrested under Leandra’s Law on Friday on Lighthouse Road in Hampton Bays.
New York State police said Nancy Skalaski, of Tuckahoe, was pulled over at 11:20 p.m. for speeding. Upon investigation, they found that she had been drinking. In the car with Skalaski were two 15-year-olds.
Skalaski was charged with Leandra’s Law DWI, a felony; two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanors and several traffic violations.
