Incident Report: Ex-Tenant Suspected in Theft

• A landlord reported that between April 21 and April 24, over $260 worth of lighting was stolen from his property.  

The East Quogue man told police he believed the damage was done by a former tenant whose lease was not renewed, and that five outdoor lights and 130 feet of underground cable was stolen. However he did not request police to pursue the investigation, just asking to document the incident.  

• A Flanders woman reported that on April 23, two men – one of whom she knows – stole two tattoo foot pedals, a power box and three boxes of tattoo needles from her home, proceeding to flee in a blue sport utility vehicle.
