Helicopter Aids In Search for Missing Riverside Man
Police said they are helping to locate a young man who was in distress.
A helicopter was searching the Flanders and Riverside area Monday night as police tried to bring a young man home safely.
According to Southampton Town police, a search was underway Monday night for a Riverside resident, 20, who was reported missing at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Police said the man left his home and his family called the police to help locate him. Authorities said they had embarked on a "well-being check" for the young man, who needed help, and that a mobile crisis unit was involved.
