Hampton Bays Fire Department was called shortly after noon Monday to a Harbor Road driveway, where a small SUV had caught fire.
The fire was extinguished, but the front end of the SUV was destroyed.
The fire department remained on scene for about an hour.
Southampton Town and New York State police were also on scene. A Southampton Town fire marshal responded to investigate.
