UPDATE: Gasoline Leak Started Small Fire

A fire that broke out in a garage at 6 Sunset Avenue in Hampton Bays has been put out.

UPDATE 2:46 p.m.: Bill Decker, owner of a marine services business that is located 6 Sunset Avenue said he was working on a steamroller in his shop when gasoline started to leak, causing a fire.  The owner of the yard put the fire out. Hampton Bays firefighters arrived to check on the  building, which was fine. There were no injuries or damage.

Previous: The has been called to a structure fire at 6 Sunset Avenue in Hampton Bays, according to .  Police indicated that a "mechanic device" was reportedly on fire in a garage and the property owner did call back to notify police that the fire was out. Police say the fire department and police are still on scene and details are unclear.
