Fight at Club Dream Leads to Arrest

East Hampton man charged with criminal mischief.

According to Southampton Police, an East Hampton man was arrested at Club Dream on Sunday at around 3 a.m. for criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

Police say they were called after Cesar Orozco, 22, was kicked out of the club for fighting and allegedly threw a rock at a parked car, damaging the rear window.

Police say Orozco was drunk and taken to Peconic Bay Hospital where he was treated for a cut on his head that he received during the fight inside the club.

Club Dream was in the news on April 30 when Southampton Police and the State Liquor Authority conducted a sting operation that resulted in the arrest of three employees for unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree and prohibited sales to a minor, all misdemeanors.

The club’s manager was also arrested. He was charged with obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor.

Police say they conducted the sting after receiving 25 emergency calls regarding the club since January. Calls, police said were related to loud music and physical and sexual assaults.
