UPDATED: Emergency Responders Called To Rollover Accident
A car has reportedly rolled over in Hampton Bays on Flanders Road.
According to , a Chevrolet Suburban rolled over in Hampton Bays on the Flanders Road Sunrise Highway exit ramp. Emergency responders were called around 11:20 a.m. to the single car accident.
Police say both the driver, a female and the passenger were injured in the crash, which police said occurred when the driver attempted to correct her turn onto the exit ramp.
The driver of the car was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital and her passenger taken by ambulance to Peconic Bay Medical Center.
