Hampton Bays Man Hit With Felony Eavesdropping Charges
Southampton say they have charged Ralph Rivera with eavesdropping.
say they have charged a 28-year-old Hampton Bays man with eavesdropping.
According to Sgt. Lisa Costa, Ralph Rivera was slapped with the class E felony on Sunday after police received reports from a Hampton Bays woman that her estranged boyfriend had allegedly accessed her text messages without consent.
Police say detectives investigated and found that the Rivera did gain access to the victim's cell phone and text messages.
