School Superintendent Lars Clemensen said that as a school policy the district does not comment on disciplinary matters involving students unless they are "extreme events."

He said, "Our staff, like all schools, deals with student discipline matters on a daily basis, which are, for reasons, confidential.  Students who violate the code of conduct are subject to discipline, but we do not typically identify or comment upon individual student discipline matters."
