Crime Alert: Credit Cards Stolen From Car Parked at Rogers Beach

Suffolk County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men who police say used stolen credit cards to shop at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Riverhead.

Police say the credit cards were taken from a car parked at Rogers Beach in Westhampton Beach on June 8.  Three males in a cream-colored Chrysler 300 with out-of-state license plates were seen in the vicinity and at least one of the men was spotted removing a pocketbook from the unlocked, parked car.

Police say one of the men they are looking for is in his late 20s to early 30s, 160 to 170 pounds and has long dreadlocks. The second man, police say appears to be around the same age, 195 to 210 pounds and at the time of the crime was wearing a black and white Polo soccer outfit.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
