Cops: Woman Hit Utility Pole, Charged With Felony

A 22-year-old from Hampton Bays was charged with Felony DWI

On Saturday, charged a 22-year-old Hampton Bays woman with a felony DWI after police say she lost control of her car and hit a utility pole.

Police said they responded to Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays at around 9:55 p.m. with reports of a car hitting a pole.

They arrested the driver of the car, Kathleen Danielson and charged her with Felony DWI. Police said he had a prior DWI conviction.

Danielson, police said, was not injured in the crash.
