Cops: Thieves Steal Donaton Jars

Police say Bide-a-wee reported that donations were taken.

Southampton Town police says that sometime between Friday evening and Saturday morning, someone sneaked into on Old Country Road in Westhampton and stole two donation jars.

The jars, which contained $60, were taken after the building had been secured for the night, the incident report states. Police said the burglar entered through a rear window. Nothing else was reported to be disturbed or missing.

This is the second time the non-profit group was burglarized in recent months. In November, Bid-A-Wee reported that a puppy was stolen from their Westhampton locations.
