Cops: Man Obstructs Traffic, Confronts Motorists In Riverside
The man was charged with disorderly conduct, police said.
A man was charged with disorderly conduct after he created a disturbance in the Riverside traffic circle, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, on Tuesday at 10:08 p.m. a Riverside man was arrested after he was observed obstructing traffic while walking in the roadway in the Riverside traffic circle.
Police said the man was confronting motorists as they tried to drive around him. When he failed to leave the roadway he was arrested for disorderly conduct, a violation. He was transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for processing and released on an appearance ticket, authorities said.
