Cops: Man Burglarized Home, Tried Selling Items at a Yard Sale

A Hampton Bays man was recently arrested on felony burglary charges.

Southampton Police arrested a Hampton Bays man on felony burglary charges on Thursday after they said he stole a handful of household items from a Hampton Bays home and tried pawning them at a yard sale.

A family reported arriving at their Yale Drive home in late May to find that a television, antique dresser, microwave, chairs, and more had been stolen. Police said that a short time later those same items were seen at a yard sale on Lyncliff Avenue.

Police arrested Gregg Ggennari, 48, on charges of second-degree blurglary, a class C felony.
