Cops: Hampton Bays Thief Stole $100,000 in Jewelry

Southampton Police charged a 24-year-year-old with Grand Larceny.

say they have charged Nicholas Speigal, 24 of Hampton Bays with Grand Larceny, a felony.

Police say they made the charge after they discovered that Speigal stole $100,000 worth of assorted jewelry from a safe that was inside a Westerly Road home in Hampton Bays on April 1.

Police say they charged Speigal later that same evening.
