Cops Arrest Three For Cocaine in West Hampton Dunes

Constables said they spotted the parked car on Widgeon Way.

Police on Monday arrested three people for cocaine possession on Widgeon Way in West Hampton Dunes.

West Hampton Dunes Police Constables said they found cocaine in a car driven by Maria S. Cepparo, 41, who resides in both Brentwood and Port Jefferson Station, and arrested her and two of her passengers.

The arrest comes a few months after Cepparo, a mother of four, was charged in May with leaving her children in a hot, unlocked car while she drank in a Holbrook bar.

Cepparo is due in court Thursday to face those charges.

Constables said they spotted the parked car on Widgeon Way, a street where no parking is permitted, around 11:45 p.m. They said Cepparo told them she was waiting to pick up a friend. When constables searched the car they found a bag of drugs, which later tested positive for cocaine, they said.

Cepparo and her two passengers Brandon Soler, 22, of Brentwood, and Samuel Villatoro, 47, of Brentwood, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.

The New York State Police, Westhampton Beach Police and Southampton Town police assisted in the arrests.
