Cops: 2 Hampton Bays Men Charged With Stun Gun, Marijuana, Fake License Possession

Police said both driver and passenger were charged.

Two Hampton Bays men were arrested in Flanders after police said a traffic infraction stop revealed that a driver had a stun gun and marijuana -- and his passenger was found to be in possession of a fake license and marijuana.

According to Southampton Town police, David O. Kunst, 22, of Hampton Bays, was stopped on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. for a traffic infraction on Flanders Road in Flanders.

Police said an investigation revealed that Kunst was in possession of marijuana and a stun gun.

Kunst was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor. He was transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for processing and released on an appearance ticket for a later court date.

Police said a rear-seat passenger, Victor M. Arce, 21, of Hampton Bays, was found to be in possession of marijuana and a fake Pennsylvania driver's license. He was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second, a felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Arce was also transported to police headquarters for processing and held for morning arraignment
