A new Hampton Bays waterfront restaurant, , was burglarized sometime Tuesday overnight, according to police documentation.
A Sundays on the Bay employee reported to work Wednesday, July 27 at 6 a.m. and discovered that the cash box and safe were missing, according to police documents. Together, the two contained about $7,200.
The alarm box in the restaurant had also been torn off the wall, according to police. The employee told police that the restaurant had been secured at around 11:30 p.m. the night before.
