Southampton Town Police Log: Unregistered Sex Offender, Witness Bribed

Southampton Town arrest reports through Dec. 10.

The following information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

Criminal Contempt

•Shawn Mulholland, 33, of Deer Park, was charged at town police headquarters in Hampton Bays on Dec. 5 at 2:0o p.m.with criminal contempt in the second degree, a misdemeanor. Police say they tracked down Mulholland for an active criminal contempt warrant.

•Wladyslawa Dolinksi, 69, of Riverhead, was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, a misdemeanor, in Riverside on Dec. 8. Cops say Dolinski had previously violated an order of protection and a local judge issued an arrest warrant based on the offense. Wladyslawa was charged at 2:50 p.m.

Bribing Received by Witness

• Horace Lattimore, 59, of Hampton Bays, was charged on Dec. 4 with bribing a witness in a parole hearing, a felony, as well as aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor.

According to Southampton Police, Lattimore was involved in an altercation with another man in August, who was later arrested and was serving jail time for menacing Lattimore with a hatchet. Police said the man was due for a parole hearing on Dec. 3, and in exchange for a favorable testimony, Lattimore requested sexual favors from his fiancé. When that didn't work, Lattimore reportedly requested $500 cash.

Instead he was arrested, held overnight at Southampton Police Station, arraigned in justice court and released on $500 bail.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

• Richard Hiers, 51, of Brentwood, was charged by police Dec. 5 with failing to register as a sex offender. An investigation revealed that Hiers moved into a Riverside home in August without registering his address as required by NYS Correction Law. Hiers has a prior conviction as a sex offender.
