Accident Ties Up Traffic in Hampton Bays

At least two ambulances called to crash Sunday afternoon on Montauk Highway.

Update:8:22 p.m.: According to Sgt. Michael Joyce of the Southampton Town Police Department, two people were taken to the hospital. Further details, Joyce said, will not be available until Monday morning. 

Previous: An accident on Montauk Highway at West Tiana around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday snarled traffic in Hampton Bays.

A sedan near the railroad trestle had heavy front-end damage and at least two ambulances were on the scene.

Just think, the two worst bottlenecks in town and in another year or two they'll decide to widen both underpasses. And these were going to be good for another 100 years................
